Are you STRESS on your STUDIES??

Graduate students often find them suffering from midsemester-itis, that mixture of stress, exhaustion, and low motivation that comes during the dark days of February. Lot's of graduate students are susceptible to feeling stressed out and blue.

Don't let a lack of motivation hurt your performance and success in graduate school. What can you do about low motivation and stress? Take care of yourself!

Don't Cut Corners on Your Health.
It's all too easy to skip a workout or pull an all-nighter to finish your work, but it's more important than ever to take care of yourself when you're under stress. When you're feeling stressed, the immune system functions less effectively and you're more likely to get sick. You know how far behind you fall when you get sick! It's difficult, but essential that you maintain a healthy diet, get regular exercise, and plenty of sleep to function your best and get rid of the midsemester blues.

Relax: Try a Soothing Bath
Close the bathroom door and run a warm bubble bath. Add a few drops of an essential oil like lavender for an extra fragrant bath. Light a few candles, turn down the lights, and soak. Don't think about what needs to be done; just experience the warm water and simply be. As you soak, try some deep breathing exercises and meditate to move towards experiencing inner peace.

Hone Up on Your Study Skills
Now is the time to study! Even if you're not doing as well as you'd like, you've got plenty of time to make progress and improve your performance. Work on your study skills and you'll feel better and have less of a reason to worry. Review these resources for study tips.

Stress? I think yes.

I become stress when i do not understand that my lecturer teach about and do not know how to solve some work that was given by my lecturer.

Example like calculus(mathematics) subject.Before this,i do not learn about this subject.I have many problem to understand it.When my lecturer give some homework to do,i just see that but not do that.He3....
This subject was very difficult to me.

All my friend,are you agree with me?
Em..i do not know what to write anymore.Enough for this day.Thanks you....

this because when we have any that not settle yet it can make we more stress you know...

for me when i get stress i will go to sleep, even only sleep 10 minit....

and when woke up, i know how and what to do after that...

because when i strees my brain is not working...
i cannot think, feels bad and more...

so if you all see me sleep in the class...
don't disturb me....
because i'm in stress...
let me sleep first...
hahaha...

hye...
sometimes i feel very stress and wanna run out of the class if i'm trying to understand all of the subject then the lecturer give me a lot of tension espicially in class ma***tic la...huhuhu
i don't said that i hate that subject,although i'm is the repeaters student...i'm still trying to imporove myself...i do a lot of homework,but i 'don't know this lecturer seems hate all the repeaters....we are all the same like the other tudent...i also want to finish my diploma on times.....for me,the things that i can do is,juz stdies and go through the final paper...i hope i'll be passsed this paper wif the very flying color....i really want to improve myself.....
the best things for me to reduces my tension is,juz relax and have a cup of milo..ahahaha.....i love milo.. and i'm very addicted to milo....huhuhuhu....

stress happened when we are in a condition where we feel so exhausted with a lot of work.crowded with work,homework,asgment..
As a student,..im used with word depress,stress and somemore.for example,our assignment have being rejected.if it happened to me,of course la i feel so so disappointed,tired,and 'empty'..(wah..empty)..
on that 'moment',i feel everything i done is no value at all..a garbage..eheh.stress,depress,and some more(but i never commit suicide)..wawa
but its for a while...try to find where problem came.we must be a positive thinker to ensure that im not in under pressure too much.
Example,my assignment was rejected for several time(kantoi...)..but my partner and i stil keep doing..do..do and do until our assignment accepted.it's not easy but its work.waaa...
seriously,i tell you...stress will happen in every aged of us.stress give some colour in our life..stress make us mature..but we have be clever to manage it.because 'teenager especially students are have potential commit suicide'...eheh..it is fact friends..
so,dont be so stress...from stress become depress...

for me....herm...
actually it fun when we having a stress...
it can show someone real attitude or personalty...
we can look how they manage their self when they in stress..
it kind of funny...hahaha...

from my opinion....
girls - they will eat or talk and doesn't stop until they feel calm...hahahaha...(jgn marah ye)
boys - they will silent themself and looking for solution in silence(waaa macho r konon)...

but if someone don't have any stress...
we can call that person is crazy...
because only crazy human that no have stress..
am i right...??? hahaha...

actually stress can make someone improve their self because when stress they must looking for solution...
so the maturity of the way they thinking will improve...
so in the future if same problem occurs, they know what to do...
it like a challenge to your self....
if you can beat a stress...
because...
only the stronger will survive...
and the weak will die....

never ever felt that way.u need to inteligently control ur stress.if u cant control ur stress then u will be end up in mental hospital.not everything in this world we need to stress up.believe me,all the problem in the world,there must be a solution.
even with study also,u need to find the best way to study.you need to enjoy what ever you done eventhough u didnt like the subject.

stress??i always feel stress especially for subject math...because i does not like much the lecturer,but i still try my best for that subject.
To overcome my stress i always listen to the music and i will call my mom.i will feel calm whenever i heard her voice.

Actually, we face stress averyday such as problem in workplace, friend, family, work, lecturer and others. But, it not nessecery to take the stress to burden us. We just relax and thinking positive about what had happen, and do the activities that can keep us forgotten about our problem such as watching funny movie because when we laugh, we can forget the stress(its been prove) or talk to your friend about your problem. Don't take all the stress inside yourself or else you'll ended at Hospital bahagia.

Relationship???
For me...problem that make me a lot of stress is relationship.....
But work that i gate it also make me stress....
Right know as a MPP, i need to think twice when do my work.....
I need to manage my time.......
How to release ur tension???
Are u have the best idea to release u tension???

of course i'm stress..

actually, with stress we can do the best possible job..
if we thinking the positive, stress can give motivated and productive in our job..
for example, i have one assigment java that i must be pass by tomorrow..so of course r i'm becoming stress..yes or no i must done my assigment..when i do my assigment, of course i give 100% concentrate in my work..from that, what i found is satisfaction of my work when my work have done..

from a personal perspective, i manage stress by listening music..it's great my stress reducer..
that all..daada..

of coz u will be stree if u dun undst wat ur lecturers r talking about. But do u know tat ur lecturers r oso stress when they dun know wat their students are talking about?? :)

if u really dun undstnd, u should ask! tat's y u r a student... if ur shy to ask... u will be forever lost!

there's a study on drinking milo which can actually help to reduce stress.. but not too much too ya coz u'll grow FAT!
